Addiction treatment programs

Insight Recovery Center offers a full continuum of care for people struggling with substance use disorders. Our programs provide structure, accountability, and personalized support at every stage of recovery.

Partial hospitalization program (PHP)

Our partial hospitalization program is the highest level of care we offer and is designed to provide a highly structured, immersive treatment experience. Clients participate in full-day programming while receiving comprehensive therapeutic support and clinical oversight.

Intensive outpatient program (IOP)

The intensive outpatient program allows clients to continue receiving structured treatment while gradually transitioning back into their daily life responsibilities. This program focuses on relapse prevention, coping skills, and long-term recovery strategies.

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT)

We offer MAT as part of a comprehensive treatment plan to support individuals recovering from opioid and alcohol use disorders. Medication-assisted treatment can help reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms while supporting long-term recovery.

Evidence-based therapies

Our programs incorporate a wide range of therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s needs, including:

  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
  • Trauma therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Motivational interviewing

We also provide specialized support for people with co-occurring mental health conditions through dual diagnosis treatment.

Asheville rehab support

Asheville and the surrounding Buncombe County area have been significantly impacted by the ongoing opioid crisis. There is good news, though: overdose deaths dropped in 2024. But there’s still a need for addiction rehab, as there were still over 10,000 emergency department visits for overdose in 2025.1

Insight Recovery Center is a place Western North Carolina residents trust. Our location balances accessibility and separation from everyday stressors, allowing clients to focus fully on recovery. Whether you’re a local looking for flexible support or traveling from across the state for 24/7 care, our team is ready to help.
